A Passionate Designer and Entrepreneur
Marie is the founder and CEO of Legacy Handmade Furniture, a company that specializes in handcrafted furniture, interior design and home decor. She was born in 1986 in France, and she has a passion for design and entrepreneurship.
Marie's father was a graphic designer, and she grew up immersed in the world of design. She obtained her bachelor's degree in technologies specialized in applied arts in 2004, and then she studied product design and industrial design in Canada. In 2009, she graduated from her master's degree in product design with honors.
After graduating, Marie joined a humanitarian operation in Cameroon. She was then selected to participate in a training program within the company Module 7 in Vietnam. It was in Vietnam that she met Kien, and together they decided to create YNOT, a home furniture and interior design company.
YNOT quickly gained a reputation for its high-quality products and its commitment to sustainability. Marie and Kien worked tirelessly to build the company, and they were proud of what they had accomplished.
However, in September 2020, tragedy struck when Kien passed away. Marie was devastated, but she decided to continue his legacy by opening Legacy Handmade Furniture in March 2021.
Legacy Handmade Furniture is a tribute to Kien and to all of the hard work that Marie and the team at YNOT put into building their company. Marie is passionate about creating sustainable and beautiful products that reflect the rich culture of Vietnam.
