Julia Pierre

A Designer with a Passion for Vietnamese Culture

Julia is a designer at Legacy Handmade Furniture, a company that specializes in handcrafted furniture, interior design and home decor. She was born in 1999 in the countryside of northeastern France, and she has always been interested in manual and creative work.

After obtaining her baccalaureate, Julia completed a year of preparation in applied arts before specializing in a higher technician's certificate in product design. She then went on to pursue a master's degree in product design focused on an eco-responsible practice of the designer profession.

Julia joined the Legacy team for a post-graduation internship in June 2022, and she was officially hired as a designer in April 2023. She loves the versatility of her job, and she is passionate about using her creativity to create unique and sustainable products.

One of the things that Julia enjoys most about her job is working with Vietnamese craftsmen. She loves to learn about Vietnamese culture and to collaborate with artisans to create products that reflect that culture. She is also passionate about sustainability, and she is always looking for new ways to create products that are both beautiful and environmentally friendly.
